For more than five years, the Heartland Center for Jobs and Freedom Lawyers Committee has recognized attorneys, judges, and legal professionals who make an annual financial commitment to support Heartland's mission. More than donors, committee members are partners in expanding access to justice across Missouri and the Kansas City region. 

Beginning in 2026, committee members will enjoy new opportunities to engage with Heartland's work, including invitations to exclusive receptions, educational programs, behind-the-scenes briefings on emerging legal issues, pro bono and other volunteer opportunities, and other special events that connect members with fellow leaders in the legal community.

We are also excited to launch the NextGeneration Lawyers Committee Membership Tier, designed for attorneys within their first five years after law school. This new committee offers emerging attorneys an opportunity to build relationships with peers and experienced public-interest leaders while becoming involved in Heartland's mission early in their careers.
